#iDR24 International Drug Repurposing Conference 2024

This spring we teamed up with REMEDi4ALL and MeRIT to deliver the first international drug repurposing conference, #iDR24 on 6th – 7th March 2024 in the stunning Sant Pau, Barcelona!

As a global event, Bridging Boundaries: Innovating, Connecting & Reshaping Drug Repurposing brought together over 250 key opinion leaders, researchers and patient advocates to collectively drive innovation for repurposing in Europe and beyond.

The conference featured three pathways:

  • Drug repurposing in rare diseases
  • Drug repurposing in cancer
  • Drug repurposing methodologies

Beacon lead the rare disease pathway to showcase the new advantages and challenges in this field.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Beacon-led pathway without the return of our lightning talk session!
