The Manchester Rare Disease Showcase 2025
On a cold winter’s day in November 2025, Beacon: for Rare Diseases returned to Bridgewater Hall for it’s Manchester Rare Disease Showcase.
This turned out to be the second-biggest UK event we’ve organised so far, with 147 delegates in attendance representing the real breadth of the rare disease community. The showcase came alive with exhibition stands and the sound of connections being forged and strengthened.
There was a packed programme featuring 20+ speakers. We had nine main stage talks, six lightning talks and an inspiring panel discussion, not to mention plenty of time for networking.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. It was your input that made the Manchester Rare Disease Showcase 2025 such a success. We’d also like to extend our thanks to our photographer Barbara Asboth for capturing the day so beautifully.
