Understanding health economics: preparing your patient group for HTA

Health technology assessment (HTA) is the gateway to accessing medicines in much of Europe, but understanding the terminology, the process, and the role for patient groups can be hugely challenging. In this webinar we will dive in to the basics of health economics assessment, arming you with some of the knowledge and tools you need to understand the process. We will then explore the emerging role for patient groups in the HTA process – whether providing expert advice to bodies such as NICE, or preparing the basic resources to understand the cost of your condition to the healthcare system.
